Backyard Putting Greens
Long Island, NY - This backyard putting green project was set into a great spot on the this three acre lot. With four tee areas ranging from 30 to 80 yards, the bunker in front of the green, and a first and second cut of synthetic grass around the putting green, the client has an ideal short game practice area.
Client's comments - I searched all of New England for three months and saw at least a dozen installations from other companies. Then I found The Putting Green Company, spoke to Steve about what I had seen, and he came here and did a wonderful job with the installation. The green holds the shots, rolls great, and performs better than even I had expected. It looks fantastic from anywhere you look on our property.
This is a backyard Par 3 project that was a blast to build. The client has a 1500 sq. ft. green with a bunker and 5 tee areas varying from 40 yds to 90 yds. The existing lawn was mowed to fairway height, so the challenge was to place the green and tie it into the existing grades with minimal disturbance.
Client's comments - The project turned out better than we expected. My boys and I have been hitting balls to this spot from all over the property, now we can actually chip, putt, play a game and keep score, rather than just hitting at a flag in the yard.

Here we converted a portion of an old, unused tennis court into a beautiful 1800 sq. ft. practice green with a fringe.
