Backyard Putting Greens




Long Island, NY - This project was set into a great spot on the this three acre lot. With four tee areas ranging from 30 to 80 yards, the bunker in front of the green, and a first and second cut of synthetic grass around the green, the client has an ideal short game practice area.

Client's comments - "I searched all of New England for three months and saw at least a dozen installations from other companies. Then I found The Putting Green Company, spoke to Steve about what I had seen, and he came here and did a wonderful job with the installation. The green holds the shots, rolls great, and performs better than even I had expected. It looks fantastic from anywhere you look on our property."



This is a backyard Par 3 project that was a blast to build. The client has a 1500 sq. ft. green with a bunker and 5 tee areas varying from 40 yds to 90 yds. The existing lawn was mowed to fairway height, so the challenge was to place the green and tie it into the existing grades with minimal disturbance.

Client's comments - " The project turned out better than we expected. My boys and I have been hitting balls to this spot from all over the property, now we can actually chip, putt, play a game and keep score, rather than just hitting at a flag in the yard."



Alpharetta, Georgia - 1200 square foot green with Fringe, Bunker, and 3 Tee areas

Client's comments - "This has been a lot of fun. I have shots up to 60 yds, and the green holds great."



Adel, Georgia - A classic refurbish project--We removed the existing generic synthetic green, enlarged the surface and added Fringe and a bunker.

Client's comments - "I really appreciate the service and the follow-up. The green is far better than what was here before."



1000 sq. ft. green with extensive Fringe around the perimeter. The green ties in to exisiting hardscape and landscape to create a virtually maintenance free environment.

Client's comments-"This green is as good or better than any of the local courses."



A small unused area turned into an entertaining 300 sq. ft. putting green

Client's comments - "My husband and children use our green almost daily."



Here we converted a portion of an old, unused tennis court into a beautiful 1800 sq. ft. practice green with a fringe.

Client's comments - "We're playing more golf now, and this green worked out just great. Our old tennis court will now be a golf green and a new garage."
